Who We Are?

ERKAM ENERGY Inc. entered the energy sector in Türkiye in 2017 to foster new investors in the industry by investing in incentivised and increasingly widespread Unlicensed Solar Energy power plants.

ERKAM ENERGY Inc. has reached a total capacity of 14 903 kWe with a 7219.47 kW PV investment for the GES project, which has been granted a 6210 kW connection approval in Isparta Atabey Pembeli, and a 6989.06 kW PV investment for the GES project, which has been granted a 6000 kW connection approval in Isparta Gönen Güneykent.

Over 7 years, ERKAM ENERGY Inc. has achieved efficiency akin to that of licensed energy companies, despite operating unlicensed GES, and has become a part of the clean, environmentally friendly energy production movement.

With its professional approach, ERKAM ENERGY Inc. will continue to grow in the energy sector.

Reducing energy expenditures, which constitutes a major item in our country's budget deficit, involves utilizing domestic and national resources. At the forefront of our domestic and national resources are renewable energies, with solar energy being the most significant. Given the substantial role of fossil fuels in climate change, solar energy, which has an almost negligible environmental impact, is expected to meet all of humanity's energy needs shortly with the advancements in technology.

ERKAM ENERGY Inc. will continue its investments in solar energy both domestically and internationally, with the aim of addressing the country's energy needs and contributing to the global climate change challenge.

In addition to our solar power plants which have been actively operating for over 7 years, ERKAM ENERGY Inc. is continuing the process of our preliminary license application for energy supply and storage, which has received positive feedback.

Furthermore, our international investment initiatives are ongoing.

ERKAM ENERGY Inc.'s existing facilities, including the Pembeli Solar Power Plant in Isparta (37.946592 Latitude, 30.675722 Longitude, 1044 meters above sea level) and the Güneykent Solar Power Plant (38.028497 Latitude, 30.362369 Longitude, 1292 meters above sea level), are located in one of Türkiye's regions with the highest solar radiation (1390-1400 kWh/m² per year and 2950-3000 hours per year). These sites represent a highly efficient investment.

In all of our solar power plants, established in 2017 and currently operating at the highest efficiency, FIRSTSOLAR brand, maintenance-free glass panels have been used.

INDUSTRIAL BENCHMARK SOLAR MODULES

FIRSTSOLAR, a global leader in PV energy, sets industry standards with its advanced thin-film solar modules, which have been installed in over 40 GW worldwide and demonstrate proven superior performance advantages compared to traditional crystalline silicon solar modules.

INVERTERS

In all of Erkam Energy Inc.'s solar power plants, SCHNEIDER Conext™ Core XC series central inverters are used. The central inverter system, typically used in large solar power plants, offers professional operation and fewer chances of malfunction.

MEDIUM VOLTAGE SWITCH GEAR AND TRANSFORMERS

Erkam Energy Inc. uses SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC products exclusively in the medium voltage transformers and switchgear systems of its solar power plants to ensure high-quality and uninterrupted energy, minimising losses.

PRODUCTION

In solar power plants (SPPs), the temperature of the panels is crucial. When panel temperatures exceed 25-30°C in open air, efficiency decreases, leading to losses of 10-15%. Although Isparta is located at one of the southernmost longitudes of Türkiye, its high altitude provides significant advantages in terms of panel temperatures (due to plateau conditions), which has been utilised by Erkam Energy Inc. The SPPs produce over 21,500,000 kWh annually, reaching maximum production levels in many months of the year.
